Cyber Security Consultant – Southern CA

(Remote Hybrid)

Description

As an integral part of Entysis360’s growing cyber division, you will be able to shape the direction of our cyber risk business and explore innovative approaches and technologies for managing risks. The work you will perform for our clients
  • Support the selection and implementation of cyber technologies and services
  • Build & deploy security infrastructure and automate security operations 
  • Become a deep technical resource that earns our customers trust
  • Develop high-quality technical content such as automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers to help our consultants, partners, and customers build on the work you deliver
  • Innovate on behalf of customers; translate your thoughts into action yielding measurable results
The work you will perform for our business
  • Create methods and frameworks to support e360’s cybersecurity professional services
  • Present project deliverables and customer solutions to clients
  • Consistently deliver engagements against established schedules and budgets, coordinating with e360 teams and delivery partners 
  • Provide outstanding technical security support and continuously improve our processes
  • Build security documentation to support customer information security programs
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and evaluate the applicability of new software technologies to platform development efforts
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 or more years cybersecurity experience 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to gauge an audience and speak at appropriate levels
    • Ability to put complex concepts in clear and concise formats
  • Delivery of presentations to both small and large groups
  • Ability to set priorities and meet obligations in a timely manner
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Willing and able to travel
  • Background check required
Requirements

The following list is examples of desired skills, the most competitive candidates should have a combination of these skills but are not required to have all of them.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security
  • 2 or more years of consulting experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of how to draw out customer needs and deliver practical outcomes addressing those needs
  • Understanding architectural implications and assessment methods for meeting industry standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST/DoD frameworks
  • Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, SIEM, data protection, and endpoint protection
  • Experience with network and application layer penetration testing
  • Experience with cyber incident response and vulnerability management
  • Experience working as a system administrator and/or cloud security
  • Scripting skills, such as: PowerShell, Python, Node.js, Javascript, Bash, Ruby, Perl
  • One or more industry certifications preferred: CISSP, GIAC, PCI QSA, AWS or Azure cloud security 

This is a customer facing role. You will be required to travel up to 50% to client locations to deliver professional services when needed.
