Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR): How IT Teams Can Build a Scalable DSAR Program
September 30, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
FreeNearly every new privacy law affords consumers, employees and other “data subjects” the right to delete, access, request, and correct (DARC aka DSARs) their data. While often managed by privacy or compliance groups, these requests typically fall on IT to execute. Even at a moderate scale, these requests can create massive drain on IT resources.
We will walk through both forms of compliance-approved methods for addressing DSARs including, manual-based methods typically used by companies with low volumes as well as technology-powered models for automating data subject requests that will scale from a few requests each month to thousands each year.
Please join Robert Glaser, VP & Chief Privacy Officer, Advyz Cyber Risk Services, in a panel discussion with guests, Jacqueline Bornino, Privacy Senior Manager, VMware, and Stephen Buko, Senior Director of Professional Services at WireWheel.
