Russell's Bio

Russell Brown is a HCI Architect with the Modern Infrastructure Practice at e360. During my 13-year tenure with the organization I have engaged in several different roles and provided professional client services for multiple software and hardware technologies.

I have had the privilege of being a career IT Professional for the past 30 years and have witnessed the growth and development of an amazing industry. The current focus of my role with the organization is with the Planning, Design and Deployment of Data Center Hyper Converged infrastructure technology working with product vendors such as Nutanix, VMware, and Veeam.

Honor, Integrity and Technical Excellence. These are the concepts that I have dedicated my professional career to and the reason I have been with e360 for going on 14 years now. E360 has always had the courage to pursue relationships with our clients that extended today’s technology with the confidence and sincerity that we will treat each individual relationship as a partnership for the betterment of our integrated lives.

Being a person who is goal oriented and raised with a deeply engraved focus on work ethic and personal responsibility, I have flourished in my roles at e360. But it is not just about technology, building personal relationships while having fun and getting to know so many great and unique people has been such a blessing in my life. I continue on with the conviction and enthusiasm to be part of the solution for the organization and all of our partners with a focus on Creativity, Diligence, and Faithfulness.

Technical Engagements

Enterprise (10000+) Energy Company Data Center Migration

Facilitated the physical migration of a large Data Center infrastructure. Assessed the Virtualized Server architecture requirements and developed a plan for the non-disruptive migration of the client environment. Utilizing VMware vSphere and Veeam Backup and Recovery tool sets we were able to provide a seamless physical relocation with no disruption of business productivity

Medium (100-1000) Financial Services Nutanix Deployment

Deployed a Nutanix Hyper Converged Infrastructure to provide an application delivery and Data Disaster Recovery site. Implemented a multi-node cluster utilizing the Acropolis Hypervisor Virtualization Software and Prism Central solution offered by Nutanix.

Enterprise (10000+) Hospital VMware vSphere Hypervisor Version Update

Assisted with planning and coordinating a multi-site, multiple cluster Version upgrade of over 100 VMware vSphere vCenter and Hypervisor instances. This project was coordinated over several months and was done with minimal impact to Hospital staff and services.

Small (1-500) Commercial Bank Restructure

Planned and Implemented a complete restructure of the entire information technology solution. This was an extended engagement that included the build out of an entirely new Data Center utilizing Hardware from HPE, NetApp and Synology. Provided design and implementation for Virtualization and protection of server environment and movement and creation of new Disaster location.
