e360 is a 30+ year privately-owned company with a focus on our people, our clients and leading technologies. Our team is comprised of leaders that focus on delivering innovative consulting solutions that leverage leading and emerging technologies.
We are a dynamic and entrepreneurial consulting company that offers ample opportunities for professional development and growth suited to each individual’s personal and professional goals. We offer internal, and subsidize external, trainings, and reimburse the cost of technology certification exams and / or renewals. Our family-founded business sees work life fit as a core value that all of our practitioners practice – the value you add to your team is more important than the time that you ‘clock in and out.’ You will have numerous opportunities to interface with senior leadership, and benefit from mentorship internally or through introductions through external networks to support your growth.
About the Role
We are looking for a technically strong Engineer to build the next generation of GenAI-powered business solutions. This role sits at the intersection of Microsoft Power Platform and Generative AI.
You won’t just be configuring standard bots; you will be engineering complex solutions that integrate Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and enterprise data.
This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone who has a solid foundation in platform engineering (2+ years) and is ready to apply those skills to real-world AI production workflows. You will work independently on deliverables while collaborating with senior architects on complex integrations.
What You Will Do
- Build GenAI Solutions: Design and deploy chatbots and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio, managing the full lifecycle from prompt engineering to topic configuration and flow design.
- Engineer the Logic: Create robust Power Automate flows to handle data processing and business logic that powers the AI front-end.
- Advanced Integration: Connect AI solutions to structured and unstructured data using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns, Azure OpenAI, and REST APIs.
- Code & Script: Write light Python or PowerShell scripts for automation, data preparation, or testing, and utilize frameworks like LangChain where necessary.
- Refine & Improve: Continuously test prompt logic and system instructions to improve the quality, accuracy, and safety of AI responses.
- Collaborate: Work directly with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical requirements and participate in client-facing working sessions.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of technical experience in software development, platform engineering, or automation.
- Core Tech: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is required.
- AI Experience: Proven experience building solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents) or similar GenAI orchestration tools.
- Cloud Skills: Working knowledge of Azure services (Azure OpenAI, Functions, Logic Apps, or Storage).
- Technical Versatility: Ability to write and debug basic code (Python or PowerShell) and understand API integrations.
- Location: Must be a resident of Southern California.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or Python AI SDKs.
- Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
- Microsoft Certifications (PL-100, PL-200, or PL-400).
- Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing engineering role.
Why This Role?
This position moves beyond simple "drag-and-drop" development. It offers the chance to work with cutting-edge AI patterns (like RAG and Azure OpenAI) while grounded in a stable, enterprise-grade platform. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills in both traditional cloud architecture and the emerging field of AI engineering.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Modern Infrastructure Senior Engineer / Architect to join our Professional Services team. This is a hands-on, execution-focused delivery role responsible for implementing enterprise private cloud environments built on Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9) and Nutanix platforms.
You will work directly within customer environments to plan, deploy, validate, and operationalize infrastructure, ensuring a clean and structured handoff to customer teams.
This position is primarily focused on delivery execution and does not include pre-sales or primary solution design ownership. The ideal candidate thrives in real-world implementation scenarios—arriving prepared, adapting quickly, and consistently delivering within scope and on schedule—while also contributing technical insight back into partner and vendor alignment efforts.
Key Responsibilities
VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9)
- Execute end-to-end VCF 9 deployments, including management and workload domain bring-up
- Configure and validate vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and SDDC Manager
- Perform lifecycle operations including patching, upgrades, and remediation
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues encountered during implementation
Nutanix
- Deploy and operationalize Nutanix clusters on AHV and/or ESXi-based platforms
- Perform cluster expansions, upgrades, and operational configuration
- Deliver implementations independently from initial engagement through customer handoff
General Delivery
Manage delivery within defined scopes of work, timelines, and customer expectations
- Produce clear, high-quality documentation and provide structured operational handoffs
- Communicate technical status, risks, and blockers effectively to project stakeholders
- Represent Professional Services with professionalism and strong technical credibility on-site
Vendor & Partner Alignment (Supporting Role)
- Provide technical support to the vendor management function for key partners, including Nutanix and VMware/Broadcom
- Act as a field feedback loop by sharing real-world deployment insights, challenges, and trends observed during customer engagements
- Support partner-related initiatives such as enablement alignment, technical validation, and escalation context when needed
- Participate in vendor touchpoints (as needed) to provide delivery perspective and strengthen technical relationships
Requirements
Required Certifications
VMware Knight Certification
VCAP – VMware Cloud Foundation v9
Nutanix Certified Professional – MCI (NCP-MCI) or higher
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure implementation experience
- Proven hands-on experience deploying VMware Cloud Foundation in production environments
- Experience implementing Nutanix in production environments (AHV and/or ESXi)
- Strong operational knowledge of SDDC Manager, vSphere, vSAN, and NSX
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and networking layers
- Ability to deliver projects on time and within scope with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and customer interaction
- Prior experience in a VAR, MSP, or Professional Services delivery environment preferred
Travel Requirement
This role requires travel to customer sites. Frequency and duration will vary based on project assignments. Candidates must be comfortable with regular domestic travel and occasional extended on-site engagements.
