Technical Engagements

Large Automobile Service Provider – Datacenter Refresh

Mr. Wong was the lead resource on infrastructure refresh for a large automobile entity that has locations across the country. Mr. Wong was responsible for the architect, design, deployment, configuration, and integration of the new infrasturture consisted of Cisco UCS, Cisco Nexus switches, VMAX storage, Brocade FC Switches, and VMware vSphere with heavy emphasis on automation to steamline the deployment and operation. Mr. Wong was also lead the migration of 5000 VM from their legacy HPE to the new infrastructure.

Regional Health Care – Multi-PODs UCS Deployment

Mr. Wong recently completed a multi-POD Cisco UCS design and deployment across the health care campus network. Two UCS PODs was implemented to support VMware View 5.1 AlwaysOn Point of Care architecture with 2,000 virtual desktops. In addition, the solution included two UCS PODs to support VMware workload of 700 virtual machines in a vSphere Metro Storage Cluster active/active configuration utilizing IBM Storage with Cisco MDS Switches and stretched L2 network consist of Nexus 7010 and Catalyst 6513. Mr. Wong also led the effort of deploying a pair of Cisco Nexus 1010-X with four pair VSMs to support distributed switching for all 4 vSpheres environments. Lastly, Mr. Wong worked on the complex VMs-attached RDMs to RDMs migration and RDMs to VMDKs conversion & migration involving Exchange and SQL servers.
